Models used by skills

A skill can recommend the model that suits its task. The recommendation is a default, not a promise that one model name will stay available forever.

Can I choose another model?#

The run screen can offer another available model when the skill and your plan allow it. A model with restricted access shows the relevant plan requirement before the run.

Why do model names change?#

AI providers release, rename, and retire models. Tabbio keeps model availability in product configuration so a skill file does not need a new schema each time a provider changes its catalog.

Which model should I pick?#

Start with the skill's recommendation. Change it when you have a clear reason, such as language quality, reasoning needs, speed, or plan access. Always review the result, regardless of the model.
